Is there a cost to listing my vehicle?
It's free to list your vehicle. The only cost is an 18% service charge on a confirmed booking.
Can I choose who rents my vehicle?
Yes, you have 24 hours to accept or deny a rental request.
Who cleans the RV?
The renter must return the RV in the same clean condition as received; cleaning fees (if any) are set at the owner’s discretion.
Is my booking automatic?
No. The owner must approve the rental request within 24 hours.
How are disputes handled?
Owners and renters are encouraged to resolve issues themselves; if not possible, GroovyLife may intervene for a $50.00 fee.
What about the damage deposit?
A refundable damage deposit is set at 50% of the rental fee (up to a maximum of $2000). If no damage occurs, the deposit is returned.
Types of RVs?
You can list motorhomes, trailers, boats, motorcycles, ATVs, or items in the “cool & unusual” category.
Multiple listings?
Yes—you can list more than one vehicle.
Ratings?
Both owners and renters rate each other using a 5-star system with mandatory comments for ratings of 3 stars or under.
Banking details?
Banking information is securely handled by Stripe, not stored on our website.
Rental pricing?
Owners set their own rental prices, and competitive pricing is recommended.
Licensing requirements?
Standard driving licenses are typically sufficient, but additional licenses may be required for larger RVs, ATVs, boats, or motorcycles. Owners will clarify requirements.
Delivery option?
Yes—arrangements can be made for the RV to be delivered and set up at the destination.
Mechanical issues?
In case of mechanical problems, roadside assistance (e.g., Good Sam) is recommended.
